Aquila Glass School is sorry to announce the closing of the school :(

From Bullseye! “All of us at Bullseye Glass were sad to learn that Aquila Glass School is closing this summer. Many of us have enjoyed working with Don, Scott and the other staff there over the years and recognize how much they’ve contributed to the community of glassworkers in the region. We know the presence of their welcoming studio will be missed by all. We hope that someone else, maybe one of you, is considering opening a similar space. In the meantime, for those who may be new to Bullseye Glass Resource Center, we welcome your visit, so you can look around, ask questions and get to know us. Please don’t hesitate to drop in.  Some of you may be wondering about trying Open Studio at Bullseye. We have scheduled a special Open Studio Orientation for the Aquila community to help answer questions. Sign up for this free session to learn about what’s available at our studio and about the ins and outs of participating here. We are making an exception and waiving our kilnforming class requirement for Aquila’s Open Studio participants who attend the orientation.  Registration for the Open Studio Orientation is online. Click here to register.    Sincerely, Bullseye Resource Center Staff – Janet, Sara, Sarah, Dustin, Dijenaire and Jo Ann Join our email list here to learn about sales, artist lectures, classes and other events.”
